Spawning[]
Pixons spawn naturally in many dimensions. The following is a list of places Pixons can spawn:
Pixon | Location found |
---|---|
Glistening | Overworld |
Gleaming | Runandor |
Ambient | The Haven, Runandor, Candyland and the Shyrelands. |
Glaring | Lelyetia |
Glowing | L’Borean |
Shining | The Abyss |
Radiant | Dustopia |
Blooming | Mysterium |
All Pixon types will despawn if the player gets too far away from them.
Manual Spawning
Pixons can be spawned in with their respective spawn eggs.
Alternatively, Pixons can be manually spawned using /summon aoa3:<type>_pixon; replace <type> with one of the Pixon types (e.g.: aoa3:glistening_pixon, etc).

Generation[]
Precasia’s generation consists of flat areas and hilly areas. There are two types of stone in the dimension: precasian surface-rock and precasian lower-rock. Precasian Lower-Rock makes up a majority of the underground, while the precasian surface-rock generates solely in the top few layers leading up to the surface, similar to dirt in the Overworld. The topmost layer is mostly made of precasian grass.
Caves generate underground in the dimension, similarly to Overworld caves. Four different fossil ores can be found underground in veins. Lava lakes can be found underground about layer y = 10 and below. The very bottom layers of the world are made of dimensional fabric
Precasia has a day-night cycle, complete with a sun and moon, as well as stars at night. Precasia also has clouds.

Overview[]
The above screenshot with night vision.
The Deeplands is a tier 1 dimension. From Deeplands, the player is able to access Crystevia.
Accessing
The Realmstone for this dimension is obtained by mining an ore on bedrock level in the Overworld with a Blank Realmstone in the players‘ inventory
Properties
Deeplands has no day/night cycle. Respawn anchors work in Deeplands. Beds do not work in Deeplands, but they do not explode when used. Clocks and compasses do not function properly, instead spinning wildly. The player icon on maps do not spin wildly, but maps in the Deeplands aren’t very usable.

Realmstones[]
Realmstones are used to activate the portal. To activate the portal with a realmstone, the player has to use the realmstone on the Carved Rune of Power in the portal structure.
Obtaining realmstones
To obtain a realmstone, the player first needs to obtain a Blank Realmstone. A blank realmstone is obtained by opening a Worn Book. When the player opens the worn book, the blank realmstone will drop out of the book and enter the player’s inventory. The Worn Book will not give a Blank Realmstone if one already exists in the player’s inventory (removing the Blank Realmstone from the player’s inventory will allow the player to obtain another).
Once the player has the blank realmstone, the player can turn it into realmstones for other dimensions by completing various tasks. The player can find out what these tasks are by pressing use with the blank realmstone in the player’s hands, then hovering their mouse over the corresponding dimension.
Tasks
The following table lists the tasks that the player has to complete in order to obtain each realmstone:
Realmstone | Dimension | Task | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Abyss | Spawn a Wither in the Nether. | Attempting to summon the Nethengeic Wither to obtain this realmstone will not work. | |
Barathos | Defeat a Husk with a Blank Realmstone. | ||
Candyland | Eat a Heart Fruit in Precasia. | ||
Celeve | Defeat a lelyetian warrior with a firework. | ||
Creeponia | Survive a Creeper’s explosion with a primed TNT nearby. | ||
Crystevia | Use a Deep Crystal on a Case Construct. | ||
Deeplands | Mine an ore on bedrock level in the Overworld. | ||
Dustopia | Spawn Shadowlord while the player is inflicted with Night Vision. | ||
Gardencia | Throw a Blank Realmstone into a Carrot crop (when full grown) in the Precasia dimension, then defeat the Primitive Carrotop that spawns in afterwards. | You will need to bring a block of dirt, a carrot, and a bucket of water or bone meal from Overworld, because no crop can be planted on any Precasian block. | |
Greckon | Use Nightmare Flakes on Elusive. | ||
Haven | Defeat a Flye with a melee attack while high up in the Lelyetian trees. (at Y=120 or higher) | ||
Iromine | Use a Blank Realmstone on a Mineralization Station. | ||
L’Borean | Lure a Gardencia mob into Candied Water, then defeat it. | ||
Lelyetia | Fall at least 26 blocks. | Landing in water or another block that prevents fall damage doesn’t count. | |
Lunalus | Jump over Haven’s void with a Gravitator. | ||
Mysterium | Inflict poison on a Creepird. | ||
Nether | Throw away a Blank Realmstone while in lava. | This task is an optional alternative to the vanilla method of accessing the Nether. | |

Bestiary Entires[]
Ambient Pixon
“ | The brightest of the pixons, this one seems to appear across multiple dimensions. This fact has led scientists to believe that pixons aren’t actually living creatures, but instead animated energy from somewhere within the dimension itself.
Like all other pixons, when siphoned with a stone or diamond bowl, they drop a condensed formation of their energy in form of ambient infusion stones. |
„ |
Blooming Pixon
“ | The Blooming Pixon is another variant of the wandering Pixons, found throughout Mysterium.
Its deep purple colouring catches the eye of nearby creatures causing it to be quite noticeable. Like all other pixons, when siphoned with a stone or diamond bowl, they drop a condensed formation of their energy in form of blooming infusion stones. |
„ |
Glaring Pixon
“ | A roaming pixon that draws its energy from the lands of Lelyetia.
Curiously enough, it only seems to appear on the topside of the dimension Like all other pixons, when siphoned with a stone or diamond bowl, they drop a condensed formation of their energy in form of glaring infusion stones. |
„ |
Gleaming Pixon
“ | A bright pixon that seems to draw its energy from Runandor.
Like all other pixons, when siphoned with a stone or diamond bowl, they drop a condensed formation of their energy in form of gleaming infusion stones. |
„ |
Glistening Pixon
“ | Glistening pixons are the most well known pixons as they primarily appear in the overworld.
Initial studies on this pixon led to the breakthrough discovery of Kronic energy and the art of infusion. Like all other pixons, when siphoned with a stone or diamond bowl, they drop a condensed formation of their energy in form of glistening infusion stones. |
„ |
Glowing Pixon
“ | A vibrant red pixon that supposedly draws its powers from the L’Borean.
In an occurrence that scientists still have no answer for; Glowing Pixons’ colour contrasts the environment from which it draws its energy. Like all other pixons, when siphoned with a stone or diamond bowl, they drop a condensed formation of their energy in form of glowing infusion stones. |
„ |
Radiant Pixon
“ | Appropriately black and lustreless, the Radiant Pixon wanders around Dustopia aimlessly.
Their dark colour can make them hard to spot, even at close-range. Like all other pixons, when siphoned with a stone or diamond bowl, they drop a condensed formation of their energy in form of radiant infusion stones. |
„ |
Shining Pixon
“ | An orange coloured pixon that roams the Abyssal wastelands exclusively.
Like all other pixons, when siphoned with a stone or diamond bowl, they drop a condensed formation of their energy in form of shining infusion stones. |

Generation[]
Crystevia has a cave-based terrain generation similar to that of the Nether, though the presence of water and harmless crystals in place of fire and lava makes navigating Crystevia easier.

There are four structures that can be found in Crystevia:
Image | Structure name | Description |
---|---|---|
Crystal Extension Station | A small structure with a Crystal Extension Shrine. | |
300px | Crystal Transfer Structures | The Crystal Transfer Structures convert Gemstones into Crystals for trading with the Crystal Trader. Gemstones are dropped by the mobs of Crystevia. There are six different kinds: Red, Yellow, White, Green, Blue, and Purple. Each Structure converts only the gemstones of its color, and has only a 12.5% (1/8) chance of succeeding. |
Crystal Trading Post | The Crystal Trading Post is a structure that holds the Crystal Trader, who trades various crystal-themed weapons, Crystallis Armor, Giant Crystals, and Crystevia Tokens for Crystals. | |
Power Station (structure) | The Power Station contains the Power Station Block, which spawns the boss Crystocore when a Giant Crystal is used on it. | |
Crystal Lotto Overlook | Crystal Lotto Overlooks contain the Crystal Lottoman, who trades the Crystal Maul Totem and the Crystaneer Totem for Crystevia Tokens. The totems have a small chance to drop their namesake items. |
Capturing Pixons[]
The first thing the player has to do to train Infusion is capture Pixons. To capture a Pixon, the player has to use a Stone Bowl or a Diamond Bowl on it to harvest the stones from it. The stone obtained from the Pixon corresponds to the Pixon itself. The player can only harvest a finite number of stones per Pixon (between 2-6 stones per Pixon). Once a Pixon is harvested out, it will disappear.
To use the Stone and Diamond bowls, the player must go up to a Pixon, and press use on the Pixon, with the bowl in the player’s hand. If done correctly, an odd sound should be heard, and the player will have Infusion stones in their inventory. However, there is a catch: some Pixons can only be caught if the player is a specific Infusion level (see chart below). Otherwise, the Pixons will always escape the bowls, and the player won’t get any stones from them.
There is a difference between the Stone and Diamond bowls:
- A Stone Bowl can harvest 1 stone at a time from a Pixon. The player will normally use a Stone Bowl for most of their Infusion training.
- The Diamond Bowl can harvest an entire Pixon in one use. Diamond Bowls are a more advanced bowl. In order to use a Diamond Bowl on a Pixon, the player has to be 10 levels higher than the requirement to use a Stone Bowl on the same Pixon.
Upon using the bowls on the Pixons, the player will also earn xp. The level requirements to capture the Pixons and the xp acquire from the Pixons is shown in the table:
Pixon | Level Requirement | Total XP | Spawn Dimension |
---|---|---|---|
Glistening | Lv 1 | 10 xp | Overworld |
Gleaming | Lv 10 | 30 xp | Runandor |
Ambient | Lv 20 | 40 xp | The Haven, Runandor Candyland, The Shyrelands |

Creating the portal frame[]
To access the dimensions in the mod, the player has to create a portal (pictured right).
To make the portal, the player will first need to make the portal frame. The frame requires that the player collect the following materials:
- 13 Ancient Rock
- 1 Carved Rune of Power
- 1 Carved Rune of Direction
- 1 Carved Rune of Space
- 1 Carved Rune of Reality
- 1 Carved Rune of Travel
The ancient rock can be found in a ruined teleporter structure, while the carved runes (except carved rune of power) can be found inside vanilla chests in structures (Dungeons, Mineshafts, Village Blacksmiths, etc), and uncommonly as a part of the ruined teleporter. The carved rune of power is an exception, it must be crafted instead of found.
The player must build the frame to be 5 blocks long and 6 blocks tall, and all of the above listed materials must be present in the portal structure. The Carved Rune of Power has to go in the center spot on the bottom of the portal frame. The rest of the carved runes can go anywhere. The corners are not optional (see diagram below).
When the portal frame is built, there should be a 3 block long and 4 block tall empty space inside the frame for the portal to go in.
Generation[]
Greckon’s landscape is quite mountainous and forested. Much of the structures and flora bear haunted traits, such as logs with eyes flashing in large holes, or large skulls that glow and dim slowly. Caves spawn in Greckon much like they do in the Overworld, but — like the Overworld — the caves are likely to house many dangerous monsters.

Structures
There are four structures that can be found in Greckon:
Image | Structure name | Description |
---|---|---|
Haunted Maze | A maze structure made of Greckon Bricks. At the end there is a Haunting Table. Players can use Ghoulasm on the table to create Primed Ghoulasm. Primed Ghoulasm is an ingredient for the Haunted Idol’s crafting recipe, and the Idol is used to spawn the boss Bane. | |
Faceless Tree | Faceless Trees are the homes of Faceless Floaters. Players should avoid these trees until they reach Hunter level 71 or higher, as they cannot damage Faceless Floaters until they do so. | |
Floating Rock | These levitating rocks are the lottery structures of Greckon. Haunted Lottoman will trade players Lotto Totems and in exchange for Silver Coins and Copper Coins respectively. | |
Storm Rune Shrine | Main article: Rune Shrine (Structure) The Storm Rune variant of the rune shrine that spawns in Greckon. |
