Multiplayer mod

Главное нововведение — это добавление мультиплеерного режима для игры в сингле (на одном экране) и мультиплеер через интернет в режиме online (с использованием сервера Ngrok или подобные по функционалу сервисы).

Если играть вдвоем на одном экране, то управление будет следующим:

для первого игрока — WASD;
для второго игрока (BF) — «стрелки».

Перед запуском батла на двоих можно выбрать и первого персонажа, и композицию, и фон. Дополнительных графических изменений в моде не предусмотрено. Настроить управление можно только через конфигурационный файл, создатель мода в будущем обещает выпустить его обновленную версию, где это можно будет сделать уже через встроенное меню Friday Night Funkin. Также появятся дополнительные возможности для онлайн battle.

Trivia

Whitty only had the Overhead song when he was first released as a replacement for Dadbattle.
It’s the first mod to feature completely unique cut scenes between Boyfriend and his opponent.
- It’s also the first time we see Girlfriend afraid from something other than thunder and the first we see Boyfriend singing first in a mod rather than a antagonist.
This week is a rare case of Boyfriend being the challenger rather than his opponent.
During the start of Overhead, sirens can be heard.
It is unknown if Whitty actually understands Boyfriend’s beeps and boops during the intro.
Girlfriend is standing in the mod while holding a boombox.
- The appearance of Girlfriend had changed between updates. The first version has her left hand on her hip, while the latest one has her swaying around.
This mod is somewhat infamous due to Ballistic’s elevated difficulty, even on Easy. Updates have made it slightly easier.
Whitty is by far the most recognized character in the modding community alongside Carol, Hex, and Tricky.
During a live stream with Nate Anim8, it was revealed that originally the plan was for Whitty to have 4 songs. The last song would have been slow and somewhat sad, and Whitty would have been captured by Updike, leading to Boyfriend going to the facility to demand Whitty’s release. This was cut due to time constraints and other issues. The song is later added in update 6.9.0 as a secret track.
If you go in the debug menu, there is a joke character in the mod’s files named Wide, which is just Daddy Dearest but stretched out. He was removed in later versions.
Ninjamuffin99 has acknowledged the mod’s existence twice.
The files for Ballistic have a chart for any build of BeatMania that supports Simfiles.
If you try to enter the «screw off :)» week, the whole game would just crash.
A sequel to the Whitty mod announced on 31st March 2021. Many people assumed that the teaser was a joke; however, Nate deconfirmed that it wasn’t a joke and that it was going to happen, but the mod was (mostly) cancelled.
Despite the deletion of the mod, you can still make mods of this very week, have Whitty present in your mods, make art of Whitty, but no reuploads of the week

Boyfriend

Условно считается продолжением для мода Whitty, так как в самом начале новой игры (Week X) между BF и GF завязывается разговор, где и будет упоминаться сражение с Whitty. После — появляется незнакомец-робот (позже указывается, что его зовут Hex), предлагающий Boyfriend сыграть в баскетбол. Главный герой отказывается, но вместо этого сражение проходит в музыкальном батле.

Мод примечателен качественным исполнением как графики, так и дополнительной музыки. Если ранее не знать, что это именно неофициальное дополнение для Friday Night Funkin, то его даже можно воспринять за продолжение оригинальной игры.

Основные новшества:

добавлено полноценное сюжетное ответвление (с текстовым описанием всех диалогов на английском языке);
добавлены новые фоны;
незначительно улучшена графика из основной игры.

Story

Felicia and George were at the same skatepark, with Felicia doing sick tricks while George fingerskated in the corner of the park. Felicia walks up and calls him a loser, but George does a finger kickflip, and Felicia falls immediately in love.

Week 1

Taking place a week after they meet, Felicia brings George home to her father, Daddy Drunkest, who is an abusive father. George wants to take Felicia from him, and does so by winning rap battles, during which DD defecates his pants.

Week 2

After realizing he doesn’t have a house, George buys one from money generated from ad revenue. Multiple people recorded and posted the rap battles onto the internet, and George got the ad revenue associated with the videos. The Fortnite Kids (Shid and Dump) break into his house, and beg to play Fortnite, until George explains why Fortnite sucks. Shid has a change of heart, and agrees. Then, the Bussy Demon shows up to deliver a pizza George ordered a few minutes ago, until he realises he wants Georges bussy. George fights off the Bussy Demon, keeping his rear safe.

X!Chara’s first track, Overwrite
This battle theme that was made by NyxTheShield plays in Underverse 0.3 Part 2 during a battle involving X!Chara, Ink!Sans, and Swap!Sans.

, is a remix of his original battle theme.
Overwrite is also the name of a technique that X!Gaster and X!Chara use throughout XTale and Underverse, similar to Resetting.
X!Chara is the XTale counterpart of Chara.
Although the original Chara from Undertale does not have a confirmed gender, X!Chara is confirmed to be male.
X!Chara is confirmed to be pansexual.
X!Chara is sometimes jokingly compared by his fans to Killua from Hunter x Hunter.
Similar to other Chara’s in other Undertale AUs and in the original base game, he has an interest in chocolate.
X!Chara acts quite cheerful in the mod despite being generally troubled throughout Underverse and XTale
However, his note animations are references to the nightmarish faces he sometimes pulls off.

Ink!Sans originally was just a drawing sketch of Sans given life, who later gained the ability to manipulate ink at will. He does not belong to a particular AU within the Undertale Multiverse, but he later appears as a deuteragonist in Underverse.
Having no AU, Ink!Sans is an OutCode.
Ink!Sans doesn’t have emotions and feelings because he is soulless. His fake emotions and feelings come from his vials of ink which he drinks regularly to feel emotions like normal beings do. Of course, if he ever stops drinking them, he will return to being emotionless just like in this case.
Ink!Sans’ attacks do 0 damage, this is because while he is able to summon bone attacks and Gaster Blasters, like almost every alternative version of Sans, his attacks are made of ink so they don’t do any kind of damage.
Ink!Sans ironically was the only one in his AU who had been able to develop emotions, after committing suicide and ending up outside of his Au he also became emotionless.
Ink!Sans is the protector of all Undertale AUs, and thus he is the enemy of Error!Sans, the destroyer of AUs.
Ink!Sans doesn’t care about the people inside the AUs but only the AUs themselves.
Ink!Sans is usually depicted a good guy throughout the Undertale fandom. However, this is not the case. Ink takes on a more chaotic neutral personality in Underverse unlike in XTale where he wants to help X!Gaster build the perfect timeline and later X!Sans (Cross), only seeking to help others for his own benefit.
In other Multiverses alternative versions of Ink!Sans may exist, some examples of these alternative versions are Vantablack, Hollow!Ink and Pale.
There is a fusion of Ink!Sans and Fresh called Fresh!Ink
Ink!Sans’s paintbrush is called broomie.
Ink!Sans is confirmed by Comyet to be Chaotic Neutral.
Ink!Sans is ambidextrous.
Ink!Sans is confirmed to be asexual.
X!Gaster originally made the perfect timeline for X!Frisk and X!Chara until he abused the power along side X!Frisk and X!Chara
In the mod, X!Gaster speaks with the Wingdings font.
Counting his overworld, title, and background appearances, X!Gaster has a total of seven different sprite sheets.
X!Gaster’s last line of dialogue in the intro to Relighted is a reference to an infamous scene from the game Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
The star next to the objects you interact with is the SAVE Point from UNDERTALE and other AUs of it. The SAVE Point was used for, of course, saving your progress. It then was used as part of the story in not just the original game, but the AUs too.
X!Gaster is confirmed to be aromantic and asexual.
The «X» in XGaster’s name is not a prefix, but is actually a part of his name. The same could not be said for the other XTale characters.

Whitty mod

Во-первых, данный мод позволяет разукрасить дни недели, добавляя новую цветовую гамму. Также в игру будет добавлена дополнительная неделя, включающая дуэль с Whitty. Уитти — это персонаж с бомбой вместо головы. Естественно, для баттлов с ним предусмотрены дополнительные треки «Lo-Fight» и «Ballistic».

Дополнительные изменения в моде:

записи с сохранениями (упрощает создание видео для офлайн-стримов);
новая система ввода (вместо традиционных WASD и «стрелок» можно использовать DFJK);
новые фоны для оригинальных недель.

Plot

Boyfriend, after his difficult journey in gaining the approval of his love interest’s father and mother, decides to bring Girlfriend around the city to find some people to battle through sick beats since it’s an activity that everyone just seems to partake in without question. Girlfriend come across something strange while passing by a very suspicious back alley- there’s an ominous orange light at the end. Curious, Boyfriend and Girlfriend walk in. Upon entering the alleyway, they see a tall, lanky figure looking down upon ashes; having just got through burning something. Feeling confident that this could be a pretty good opportunity for a little tune battle, Boyfriend beeps at the figure.

The figure turns and it’s none other than Whitmore, otherwise known as Whitty. Girlfriend somewhat recognizes him, only really knowing that he’s a rock-star with a serious grudge against her parents. Of course, this doesn’t stop her from pulling out a boombox as Boyfriend challenges Whitty despite the latter clearly wanting nothing to do with them.

After Lo-Fight, Whitty starts to get mad and ‘suggests’ that Boyfriend should “…die in a ditch instead.”

After Overhead, Whitty snaps and has an emotional breakdown, demanding Boyfriend and Girlfriend to leave him alone. He curses Boyfriend and his parents for giving birth to him, but Boyfriend doesn’t seem to care about Whitty’s sanity, let alone consider the danger of the situation. It is unknown what happens after the song ends.

When he performs a note in his Ballistic form, his entire body changes to the color of the note he just hit.

Biography

Whitty was made by a doomsday cult and was incubated in a facility where he developed. He was also constantly being injected with unknown samples of DNA along with growing in a spherical-shaped caged, he was given a bomb-like appearance.

Whitty was born in a facility alone. He got his name from a name tag, the very first object that he has ever held. Eventually, he learned the English language and was able to read the name «Whitmore» on the name tag and decided to go by that name. Shortly after, he shortened Whitmore to Whitty and decided to go by that name instead.

Whitty was also rivals with Updike sometime during his life. However, their relations got worse after Updike was specialized by a taskforce called «The Greater Good» and was tasked to imprison and destroy creatures like Whitty. Whitty has been on the run ever since. Being on the run has given Whitty a tremendous amount of stress and anxiety ever since due to the fact that he is constantly trying to not be caught by Updike‘s taskforce.
