10) Dispute Resolution

a) Informal Resolution for You Disputes

With respect to any Dispute, you agree to attempt to negotiate the resolution of any Dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days before initiating any arbitration or other proceeding, including any legal proceeding in court or before an administrative agency. Such informal negotiations commence upon Hypixel’s receipt of Notice from you. This does not apply to any Dispute that Hypixel has with You.

c) Mandatory Binding Arbitration for Your Disputes

If you are not able to satisfactorily resolve a Dispute informally within a total of thirty (30) days, or if Hypixel, in its sole and absolute discretion, determines that it will not be possible to satisfactorily resolve that Dispute informally within a total of thirty (30) days, you agree that either you or Hypixel may request resolution by final and fully binding arbitration conducted under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. You may request that a Dispute be resolved by arbitration under this Section shall be responsible for initiating such a proceeding.
1. The American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) will run the arbitration between you and Hypixel, and AAA’s rules and procedures (including their Supplementary Procedures for Consumer-Related Disputes, if applicable) will be used. If something in these Terms is different than AAA’s rules and procedures, then we will follow these Terms instead. You can look at AAA’s rules and procedures on their website www.adr.org or you can call them at 1-800-778-7879.
2. YOU UNDERSTAND, AND FURTHER AGREE, THAT YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO CONSULT WITH INDEPENDENT LEGAL COUNSEL OF YOUR OWN CHOOSING REGARDING THIS AND ANY OTHER PROVISION IN THIS AGREEMENT AND THAT THIS BINDING ARBITRATION PROVISION WILL ELIMINATE YOUR LEGAL RIGHT TO SUE IN COURT, TO HAVE A JURY TRIAL, AND/OR TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION WITH RESPECT TO ANY SUCH DISPUTE. This morning, May 11 2013, we implemented Update #5.
Changes:

Stability improvements
Individual player queuing in lobby. Right click on the sign while not in a party to be added to a queue for that map. Once 4 people are queued for that map, a server will be assigned to you.
Changed invisibility slimeball to a clock
Dynamic server sign system. Sign sections have been made much smaller and servers will rotate through them as necessary (a nonjoinable server will be replaced with a joinable one after 10 seconds)

Jul 27, 2021 Murder Mystery Bug Fixes — July 2021

Hey everyone!
Today, we have released some new bug fixes and balancing changes to Murder Mystery. For more information, make sure to read the patch notes below!► Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug that allowed early kills in Double Up.
Fixed a bug that allowed instant respawns from environmental kills in Infection.
- Now, infected players will always respawn with a 5 second delay.
- Survivors will also respawn with a 5 second delay and become Infected if they are killed at any point in the game.
Fixed a bug that caused your xp bar not to reset after using the Pumpkin Laser Victory Dance.
Fixed a bug that allowed murders to give slowness to their teammates as a spectator in Double Up.
Fixed a bug that said the alpha was exposed when they were actually dead.
Fixed a bug that caused some maps to not start at the right time of day.
Fixed a bug which prevented other players from picking up Soda and Snowmen that they didn’t buy.
Fixed a bug which allowed the Cursed Sword from Kali to take durability damage.
Fixed a bug which prevented Infected players from using the jump boost in Widow’s Den.
Fixed a bug which caused some Infection games to end in the first five seconds.
Fixed a handful of grammar errors.

► Quality of Life Changes

If you have the Kali Bow, you won’t be able to pickup the detective bow.
You can now earn coins for picking up gold as the murderer.
Removed the Avalanche event from Mountain.
You can now get extra coins for bow shots from 30+ blocks away.

Note that this is a separate Bug Fix Patch and not related to the upcoming Murder Mystery update. Please be a little more patient while that is being worked on.

We aim for the Hypixel Server to be a fun and safe place for players to communicate and interact with each other respectfully. Our chat environment is a good way to talk to other players, discover new friends, and have fun while in lobbies and games.We encourage players to cooperate and compete in a positive environment, but never in a way that disrespects or abuses other players. In short: treat others the way you would like to be treated.

What do we mean by Respecting Players?

Respecting players means that players should not create negative experiences for others.Behaviour that is not allowed:

Discrimination — negative comments related to skin colour, gender, mental or physical health conditions, or other personal qualities
Overuse of bad language
Trolling players
Insulting other players in any way
Encouraging violence or hatred towards other players
Falsifying information about other players
Sharing another player’s personal information without their consent
Media advertising — Posting and sharing names and/or links to media such as YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat, Discord etc in Public Chat
Spamming — Repetitive posting of messages in a short period of time. This may include posting messages in multiple lobbies
Intentionally avoiding the chat filter
Talking about self-harm, or other deeply negative experiences
Advertising giveaways (in Lobbies and forums)
Harassment of content creators (YouTubers, Streamers) with malicious intent of sabotaging games while they are under /nick protection
Discussion of inappropriate topics

3) Sensible Creative and Artistic Content

We encourage players to be creative in art and designs in a way that doesn’t damage the experience of others. This includes all content such as drawings, item names, skins, and capes, which are created by players.

This rule is in place to provide a positive in-game experience for all players and provide an environment where inappropriate concepts and themes are not shared publicly. All players have the right to play in an environment which is suitable for a wide range of ages.

What does Sensible Creative and Artistic Content mean?

Sensible Creative and Artistic Content means that players can express themselves with interactive parts of the server. However, players also have the right to not be exposed to certain content. Inappropriate creation/usage of the following content below should be reported to staff:

Drawings/Buildings — e.g. team build battle, pixel painters etc.
Pet names
Item Names & Usages — e.g. using hats, signs, etc.
Housing Plots & Names — e.g. ranks, npc’s, etc.
Skins and Capes
Usernames — e.g. sexual, impersonating etc.
Guilds — e.g. tags, motd, etc.
Skyblock — e.g. names, holograms, etc.

Please note you may also get punished for participating in building with others who break the rules. e.g. team build battle

How can I log back on after having a bad username?

If your account was found to have a bad username, you will not be able to log onto the server.To be able to log back on the server, you need to change your username to something appropriate and then you will be allowed to log onto the server.If you believe there has been a mistake with the username that you can not access the server with, please contact staff managers at our Hypixel Support site and use staff-feedback to discuss this further.

Sorry that I haven’t been keeping up with patch notes, it’s been a busy few weeks. Over the past 2 weeks, we’ve introduced 3 major patches:

Tuesday at 11:04 AM Hypixel now supports Minecraft 1.18

Hey everyone!
Minecraft 1.18 is out! The Hypixel Server has now been updated to support the new version.
As such, at this time, we do support the following versions:1.8, 1.11, 1.12, 1.13, 1.14, 1.15, 1.16, 1.17 and 1.18!
If you come across any sort of exploits, bugs, issues, or anything else, please report it to our bug report section.
Finally, as always, I’d like to remind everyone that Hypixel is better played on the 1.8.9 version of Minecraft if you tend to play PVP games, as is usually the case for any Minecraft Servers out there.Regarding Hypixel SMP 1.18
As with 1.17, there is more work involved to support 1.18 fully in SMP. We aim to support 1.18 in SMP very soon and we’ll be working as fast as we can to support it!UPDATE: We have enabled 1.18 support for SMP, please note that servers may be slower to start for a few hours/days due to missing optimizations that will be added back as soon as possible!

Как зайти на Хайпиксель

Для того чтобы зарегистрироваться на Хайпиксель необходимо приобрести лицензию на официальном сайте «Майнкрафт», стоимость которой составляет 1900 рублей.

Для покупки лицензии потребуется:

Ввести в поисковую строку minecraft.net.
Далее нажимается кнопка «Купить MINECRAFT» и заполняются все необходимые поля, включая дату рождения.
После этого нажимается кнопка «Создать учётную запись».
Далее учётная запись подтверждается по указанному ранее адресу электронной почты.
Затем выбирается способ оплаты лицензии и загружается в Майнкрафт.

Существует ещё один способ — покупка пиратской лицензии. Данный способ обойдётся намного дешевле.

Однако, в этом случае, по истечению некоторого времени пользователь может столкнуться с проблемой, во время входа на свой аккаунт в Майнкрафте.

То есть, есть вероятность получить БАН и потерять свой аккаунт, а это, если вы уже не новичок в играх — довольно неприятно.

При решении рискнуть и приобрести неофициальную лицензию, делать это лучше через steamplay.ru. Стоимость лицензии в этом случае варьируется от 7 до 299 рублей.

После приобретения лицензии и получения логина и пароля для входа в систему, который отправляется на адрес электронной почты, можно приступать к решению основного вопроса, то есть, входу на сервер Хайпиксель.

Вход на Хайпиксель

Итак, чтобы войти на Хайпиксель потребуется:

На сайте minecraft.net нажать в правом верхнем углу на «Меню».
Затем нужно найти строку «Пробная версия и загрузка» и нажать на неё.
Далее кликается кнопка «Загрузить» и остаётся дождаться скачивания лаунчера.
После загрузки лаунчера Майнкрафт, нужно ввести логин и пароль, которые были отправлены на адрес электронной почты, указанный при покупке лицензии. При этом в качестве логина используется та часть текста, которая указывается до двоеточия, а паролем является соответственно то, что остаётся после двоеточия. Копирование логина и пароля осуществляется правой кнопкой мыши.
Далее нажимается кнопка «Войти».
После этого нужно нажать на «Параметры запуска» и выбрать версию, на которую планируется зайти. Здесь лучше всего выбирать версию не ниже 1.8.
Теперь можно нажать на «Играть», где выбирается «Multiplayer» или, иными словами, загружается сетевая игра.
Откроется новое окно с пустым списком серверов, но это не страшно. Для добавления сервера нажимается кнопка «Add server», то есть — «Добавить сервер».
В строке «Server Name» указывается название сервера, например, Hypixel.
Далее, в строке «Server Address» указывается IP искомого сервера, т.е. в нашем случае прописывается «mc.hypixel.net» и на «Done».
Для входа на добавленный сервер нужно кликнуть по нему два раза левой кнопкой мыши и можно наслаждаться игрой.

Итог

Как можно увидеть, решить вопрос о том, как зайти на Хайпиксель, довольно просто.

При этом выбор какой вариант лицензии будет использоваться, пиратский или официальный, остаётся исключительно за пользователем.

Остаётся только напомнить, что приобретая неофициальную версию лицензии Майнкрафт, может получиться так, что пользователь просто не сможет войти на сервер Хайпиксель.

А это означает, что все ваши достижения в игре, будут утрачены навсегда.

Nov 24, 2021 Update: Microsoft Account Migration Requirement

Hello everyone!UPDATE 12/1/21 — The Migration Requirement is now LIVE! You MUST turn on your migrator cape or use our migration authentication tool in order to confirm your migration status!
The time has come to require everyone who wants to play games listed as Competitive to be migrated to a Microsoft account. These games currently include Ranked SkyWars, UHC, The Pit, Mega Walls, and any tournaments we host. Based on recently obtained information and internal metrics, we feel comfortable in forcing this migration requirement. We will be implementing this requirement in one week, starting on Wednesday, December 1st.
With this change we aim to improve the overall health of competitive game modes, by reducing the availability of legacy alt accounts. You can find out more about this requirement as well as a reward for confirming your migration status with us on our previous announcement.
If you haven’t received the option to migrate your account to a Microsoft account yet, you may want to contact Mojang support. From the information that we’ve gathered, the vast majority of accounts should have this option available. You can reach out to Mojang support HERE. For more information about the Microsoft account migration in general, visit their How to Migrate page HERE.

Added slimeball, an item in lobbies that allows you to disable viewing of other players (You can’t see them) to help reduce client lag. Right click to hide all other players, Right click to view them again. (Currently a bit buggy)
