Holy Grail folders

Some people are having a lot of fun to try and collect all the unique and set items in the game. This is usually happening on PlugY where the stash can hold all the items for evidence. Another advanced achivement is to actually have a screenshot of each item dropping. I will be soon developing an app to the Holy Grail where you will be able to record and upload your own Holy Grail lists but until it’s ready you can download this Holy Grail folder pack below. It just contains empty folders but they are sorted properly so you can put your drop screenshots in there.

So basically just unzip the archive somewhere. It is a collection of empty folders. Whenever you find an item, screenshot it while on the ground, then take the screenshot from your Diablo II folder and cut/paste it to the relevant folder inside the Holy Grail structure.

Blizzard Sorceress (Волшебница Бури)

• В зависимости от стиля игры, этот набор можно дополнить Телепортом, Теплом (Warmth) или Статическим полем (Static field).
• Кроме этих заклинаний стоит вложить очки во Власть над Холодом (Cold Mastery).

Статы

Основная прокачиваемая характеристика – Выживаемость (Vitality). Сила (Strength) и Ловкость (Dexterity) прокачиваются лишь тогда, когда это необходимо для использования нового снаряжения. Тратиться на Энергию (Energy) не стоит.

Экипировка

Главное, на что нужно обращать внимание при подборе предметов – увеличение скорости каста. Минимальный показатель, к которому нужно стремиться +63%

Хорошо бы обзавестись и вещами, увеличивающими мощность заклинаний холода. Не лишними станут бонусы к скорости передвижения, здоровью и живучести.

Ассасин – Trapsin

«Ассасин — эксперт боевых искусств и член древнего ордена Визжерей, основанного для охоты на магов-изгоев. Для победы над злом она использует смертоносные ловушки и теневые дисциплины».

Trapsin – персонаж для тех, кто не хочет долгими часами заниматься поиском вещей. Вам практически гарантирован расслабляющий стиль игры и низкая опасность для жизни персонажа. Это не значит, что можно вообще не напрягаться, но эта девушка максимально комфортна. Быстрая убийца, которая уничтожает врагов ловушками Lightning Sentry и Death Sentry.

• Плюсы: очень быстрая, простой стиль игры, низкие требования к вещам
• Минусы: монстры с иммунитетом к Lightning, проблема с боссами на ранних этапах

Frozen Orb Sorceress Build (Волшебница Ледяного шара)

Сборка с потрясающим AoE и высокой скоростью. Выбор номер один для фарма.

Ледяной шар (Frozen Orb) – заклинание, давно полюбившееся поклонникам Diablo 2. Билд на его основе выходит довольно гибким и вариативным

Один из популярных вариантов базируется на сочетании Ледяного шара с Энергетическим щитом (Energy Shield) с особым вниманием к запасу маны и ее восстановлению. На выходе игрок должен получить высокую степень защиты и солидный ледяной DPS

Навыки

• Основная ветка, как можно понять из названия билда – Магия Холода.
• Из огненной ветки нужно позаимствовать Тепло.
• А вот к молниеносным заклятиям игроку точно нужно присмотреться внимательно. Но глубоко лезть в них все-таки не стоит.

Статы

Для грамотной экипировки будет нужно 95 – 156 очков Силы. Выживаемость усиливать стоит как следует, остатки вливать в Энергию, а вот Ловкость тут прокачивается исключительно в том случае, когда этого требует шмот.

Экипировка

И, опять-таки, главное, что нужно сделать – усилить навыки. Приоритет отдается тем предметам, что дают сорке бонусы к мане и ее восстановлению.

Наемник

Остановиться опять же стоит на наемнике из 2-го Акта, причем – с упором на урон. Монстров с иммунитетом к Холоду ведь никто не отменял.

Here you can find downloads for the official Diablo 2 game, as well as the popular mode PlugY.

Diablo 2 Original Download

Diablo 2 is available for download for free, even on the official Blizzard Sites. So i will just lay out the link here (scroll down to Classic Games) — Official Blizzard Download. The installation requires a CD-Key. I will not be giving away CD-Keys, best if you purchase the game and you will receive a CD-Key or you can try search for a CD-Key online. Some good-hearted users on Reddit have shared they keys for the sole purpose of people installing the game.

Download and install PlugY

PlugY is Diablo II mod that is famous for preserving the game as it is while only extending the Stash of the character to infinite tabs and the stash is sharable across chracters for easy muling. The mod requires 1.13d version of the game so we need to do a little setup before we can play it.

Here is how to install it:

Meteor/Fire Ball Sorceress Build (Волшебница-Метеор/Огненный шар)

Сильнейшая из огненных сборок и отличный выбор для стартовых локаций, особенно – на адской сложности.

Метеор (Meteor) – одно из мощнейших заклятий сорки, а с усилением в виде Огненного шара (Fire Ball) и с повышенной скоростью каста – оно создает по-настоящему смертоносную сборку. Проблему будут составлять только противники с невосприимчивостью к огню.

Навыки

• Основное древо навыков – огненные заклятия. Помимо атак, отсюда неплохо было бы позаимствовать Тепло.
• Внезапно, но главная защита для этой сборки – Доспехи Холода.
• Можно задуматься о прокачке Статического поля.

Экипировка

В первую очередь, игрок должен сделать при подборе снаряжения упор на усиление основных способностей, затем – на скорость каста. Для огненной сорки пороги FCR – 63, 105 и 200%, так что остается стремиться только к средним показателям. Сборка не ориентирована на борьбу с финальными боссами, так что дойдя до определенной точки улучшать снаряжения особого смысла уже не будет. Однозначно нужны Магические кольца, перчатки Chance Guards и сапоги War Travelers.

Наемники

От наемника тут требуется высокий DPS, так что подойдет наемник 2-го акта с Might Aura. Он – главная защита игрока от противников с иммунитетом к огню.

Dual-Wield Attacks

Assassins and Barbarians have attack animations for dual-wielding Weapons. These attacks do not benefit from IAS on the secondary weapon at all. The EIAS calculation only captures IAS on the primary weapon. In addition to this, the Barbarian has three unique attacks that have a set Anim_Lengththat are decreased by a new variable, V_Inc.

• V_Increplaces the Anim_Rateportion of the equation entirely, since it captures WSM, SIAS, and EIAS

  VInchas a minimum value of 15 and a maximum value of 175 regardless of the total values on the Character’s items.

  when calculating its value.

• The primary equation is also replaced with a simplified version which calculates fpa = Frames Per Attack, since these attacks use both weapons.
• The equation references WSM for your primary and secondary weapon. Primary is the weapon that is equipped first, and the secondary is equipped second.

V_inc= 70 + (WSM_1st+ WSM_2nd)/2 + SIAS + EIAS

fpa = {256 * 12 / [256 * V_inc/ 100]} / 2

V_inc= 120 + (WSM_1st+ WSM_2nd)/2 + SIAS + EIAS

fpa = {256 * 17 / [256 * V_inc/ 100]} / 2

Mechanics

Any crafting recipe turns a Magic Item into a Crafted Item of the same item base with new properties. This is achieved by «consuming» the initial Base Item, a Perfect Gem, any kind of Jewel and a Rune. Only the right combination of Magic Item, Gem and Rune works to create a Crafted Item (Check out the crafting recipes below). The original Item won’t keep any of its initial properties such as Affixes, Ethereal status, Staff mods, or Sockets.Depending on the chosen recipe, the crafted item has some guaranteed Stats. In addition to these, the new item gets between 1 and 4 Affixes (Suffixes / Prefixes) which can stack with the crafted properties. As an example: a Caster Craft Amulet can get +10% Faster Cast Rate from the craft and +10% Faster Cast Rate as a Suffix, adding up to +20% Faster Cast Rate. These Affixes are chosen from the pool of Affixes for Rare or Magic items. The amount of Affixes is a %-Chance depending on the ilvl (Item Level) of the created item (which depends on the initial ilvl and your Character Level — see below). A Crafted Item can have a maximum of 3 Prefixes or 3 Suffixes, so you will always have at least 1 of each Affix on a maximum Affix roll.

Apart from the ilvl, we also need to know the alvl (Affix Level) the crafted item gets. The alvl determines the «Affix-pool» that is available for an item. Generally speaking, a higher alvl means more available Affixes.

Shapeshifted

While most people think of the Druid, there are two other ways of shapeshifting into different forms, and these things affect your animation breakpoints.

• The Vampire transformation from wearing full Trang-Oul’s Set (Trang-Oul’s Scales) gives you an Anim_Lengthof 14 and Anim_Speedof 176 which plug into the original equation above.
• The Undead Fetish transformation from Delirium gives you an Anim_Lengthof 12 and Anim_Speedof 256 which plug into the original equation above.
• The Druid shapeshifting with werewolf and werebear have a unique animation calculation with 3 new variables: Frames_Neutral, Frames_Char, and Char_Speed.
  • Frames_Neutral

    NU is the designation in the game-files and the Frame length is 13 for Werewolf and 12 for Werebear.

    is the neutral animation of the Druid while shifted and standing still.

  • Frames_Charis the Druid’s un-shifted attack Frame length, which is 15 Frames.
  • Char_Speedis the Anim_Speedof the un-shifted Druid, which is 256.

Anim_Duration= {(Anim_Length* 256) / [Anim_Speed* (Anim_Rate+ SIAS + EIAS — WSM) / 100]} — 1 Anim_Speed= [256 * Frames_neutral/ Delay] Delay = [256 * Frames_Char/ [(100 + WIAS — WSM) * Char_Speed / 100]]

The big take aways from the Druid Anim_Durationcalculation are as follows:

• Anim_Speedwhich is normally a static 256 is now modified directly by Delay which adds Weapon IAS directly to WSM as opposed to processing WIAS through diminishing returns first. This greatly decreases our value, and then further modifies the speed by adding the EIAS

  This makes off-Weapon IAS values much less important. With certain base Weapons and IAS on-Weapon, off-Weapon IAS can become irrelevant, as it won’t contribute to decreasing the animation length any further.

  again, in the first equation.

• werewolf itself is a massive SIAS bonus which also directly increases Anim_Speed.

The Equation

Anim_Duration = {(Anim_Length* 256) / [Anim_Speed* (Anim_Rate+ SIAS + EIAS — WSM) / 100]} -1[EIAS = 120 * IAS_Item/ (120 + IAS_Item)]

Diablo 2 runs on a 25 Frames per second engine. Animations are measured in Frame length, which takes any amount of time, in seconds. The engine cannot show parts of a Frame, so an animation speed is only increased when an entire Frame is removed from the total animation length. To understand this equation, we need to understand each variable and how it is derived. brackets round down, and { } brackets round up.

Anim_Duration

• The final number of Frames the animation will take to finish, after modification by Increased Attack Speed.
• This value, divided into 25 Frames per second, gives you the number of animations per second you can complete at your current speed.
• This value, divided by 25 Frames per second, gives you the length of the animation in seconds.

Anim_Length

The number of Frames there are in the unmodified animation. If the animation was a race track, the AnimLengthis the distance you must travel to get to the finish line.

Anim_Speed

A static variable that is always 256. It’s used to decrease rounding errors in the equation, since Frames must be measured in integers for the game engine.

Anim_Rate

• A static variable that is always 100%.
• Added to Increased Attack Speed and Weapon Speed Modifier to create the new rate at which the animation finishes.
• This value determines how many Frames are removed from the total animation, which allows the action to occur faster.

SIAS

Skill Increased Attack Speed.

• The sum of Increased Attack Speed available from buffs / debuffs on a Character.
  • burstofspeed, fanaticism, werewolf, and frenzy are the four sources of SIAS buffing, in the game.
  • will reduce SIAS. This includes decrepify, holyfreeze, Cold Length, and Slows Target

    On Characters, there is a cap of 50% Slow.

EIAS

Effective Increased Attack Speed.

• Increased Attack Speed is transformed through the second equation to EIAS by applying a diminishing return function found in many of Diablo 2’s equations. The sum of all Increased Attack Speed on Weapon and equipped items.
  • When two weapons are equipped, only the primary weapon’s IAS is used in the calculation, for EIAS.
  • The Druid’s Shapeshifted forms have a unique IAS calculation that we cover below.

WSM

Weapon Speed Modifier.

• Every Weapon in the game has an inherent WSM value based on its item type.
• These values range from 20 to -60.
  • Positive WSM

    In the equation above, you subtract the WSM from your Animation Rate %. Double negative cancels and adds that value to the Rate instead.

    values make the Weapon slower, and negative values make the Weapon faster.

• When dual-wielding Weapons, your WSM is calculated differently depending on which Weapon is considered your primary.
  • The primary Weapon is the first Weapon you equip.
    • If your Left Weapon Slot is the primary, WSM = (LeftWSM + RightWSM) / 2
    • If your Right Weapon Slot is the primary WSM = (LeftWSM + RightWSM) / 2 — LeftWSM + RightWSM

To smooth out the repetition of animations, the first and last Frame are the same. To calculate the game overlapping these two points in the animation, we remove 1 Frame from the total.

IAS_Item

Increased Attack Speed from items.

The sum of all IAS affecting the attack animation, with the Weapon’s IAS added if it’s the mainhand Weapon.

If we take the base Amazon without any weapons in hand and her melee attack animation of 12 frames, we can see the equation work in real time. I’ll plug in all of our values for you to see.

Meteorb Sorc вполне может претендовать на место вашего первого персонажа. И это даже рекомендуется, если вы не планируете просто пробежать Diablo 2 один раз. Она не особо требовательна к экипировке и способна быстро наполнить хранилище уникальными предметами. У этой девушки есть всё, чтобы быстро зачищать самые популярные места фарма уникальных вещей.

• Плюсы: лучший стартовый персонаж, отлично добывает вещи, мобильность, два типа урона, масса вариантов экипировки
• Минусы: легко убить, с увеличением количества игроков в партии урон уменьшается

Hero Editor/Trainer

Hero editors or trainers are used for single player editing of characters. The one that works across multiple versions of Diablo II, including 1.13, Pluggy and the newest official version — Hero Editor v1.04

Now please take this with the following consideratoin — Playing single player has been more and more popular in the recent years, especially with the Pluggy mode. People are playing legit characters and gearing themselves with self-found items. This is what Diablo II is all about. Trainers ruin this good feeling easily. It might feel like a good idea to give yourself a little start with a trainer but believe me — this will not last long and disappointment will soon kick in. If you still think you want to use a trainer, continue and download on your own caution.

Instructions:

Install works on Windows 10 without any issues. Install and run. Open your character file (.d2s)

You can then edit stats, levels and pretty much everything

Another useful feature is to export/import items from your characters. More about it in the next section

The trainer will not load your Diablo 2: Resurrected d2s files directly but what you can do is edit a Legacy character (such as 1.14) and once finished, copy its d2s file from the Legacy directory to the D2:Resurrected directory. More info on locations below

Sequence Animation Skills

Some attack Skills in the game have unique animations, that are not just repeating standard attacks. They use a slightly different equation for Anim_Durationthat is slower due to a static penalty to WSM and no removal of overlapping frames with consecutive attacks.

Anim_Duration= {(Anim_Length* 256) / [Anim_Speed* (Anim_Rate+ SIAS + EIAS — (WSM + 30)) / 100]}[EIAS = 120 * IAS_Item/ (120 + IAS_Item)]

You see the loss of the -1 from consecutive attack frame overlap, and our WSM has a static + 30 to its value.

  leapattack and charge do not use WSM in their attack animation calculation speed.

Diablo 2 Редакторы персонажей

ShadowMaster

ShadowMaster (+архив предметов) лучшая программа для редактирования
персонажей в старой версии 1.07. Но, и для любой новой версии программа так же будет полезной в ней можно создавать персонажей с нуля. Делая им нужный уровень, скиллы, и
добавляя нужные предметы.

Программу мне прислала Gedewein за что ей большое спасибо, и вот ее комментарий:

«К программе особое описание и не нужно. У меня Diablo II LoD 1.07, всё открывает без проблем. Когда создаёшь персонажа, нужно нажать
на замочек вверху (см. скриншот), тогда всё пойдёт как нужно.
Прогой можно редактировать уровень персонажа, класс, опыт, показатели силы, ловкости, жизни и энергии, количество золота в сундуке и с собой, а
так же кол-во неиспользованных плюсиков, которые даются при достижении нового уровня.

Программа открывает порталы (ставим галочки в третьей вкладке, там можно ещё выбрать на какой сложности открыть порталы и выполнить квесты,
скриншот), а так же позволяет импорт/экспорт предметов и их сохранение
(скриншот), а так же набора предметов (типа плейлиста). Самое главное,
нажать замочек, а там уже методом научного тыка всё элементарно. В общем и целом, программа редактирует всё

Я тебе высылаю всю свою папку с предметами, там пороешься, посмотришь, что нужно, а что нет. У меня там сохранены предметы с зелёными надписями,
жёлтыми надписями, некоторые рунные предметы (с большим кол-вом дырок), камни в разной стадии, руны, черепа.»

HeroEditor

Инструкция по использованию: запускаете, нажимаете внизу слева кнопку «Open», открываете нужное сохранение и можете редактировать персонажа. В
HeroEditor можно изменить все, что угодно: уровень, кол-во золота, характеристики, умения, выполненные квесты, даже открыть точки пути (Waypoints). Для
редактирования инвентаря, нажимаете в свободном поле правой кнопкой и выбираете «Import item from file», после чего указываете путь к предмету (они хранятся
в папке HeroEditor -> Item_packs).

Для изменения свойств предмета, нажимаете на нем правой кнопкой и выбираете «General edit of item» Т.к. HeroEditor не предназначет для
использования с PlugY, то в сундуке будет показываться только первая страница, а предметы будут находиться на том месте, где они находятся в сундуке
PlugY (т.е. будут вылезать за пределы сетки или не попадать в ячейки, это не глюк) HeroEditor полностью на английском, и перевода в ближайшее время не
будет. Если вы еще плохо его выучили, то будет повод выучить хотя бы «Диабловский» английский.

Jamella Diablo II Hero Editor 4.0 Beta 9c пожалуй лучший редактор персонажей
в старых версиях игры. Когда играл на версии 1.07 очень часто пользовался.

Chain Lightning Sorceress (Волшебница Цепной молнии)

Лучшая сборка для волшебницы в финальных актах. Тонны наносимого урона, убийственная Молния (Lightning) с этим билдом волшебница без проблем справиться с большинством врагов. Хотя на начальных этапах игрокам справиться со сборкой будет сложно из-за высоких требований к снаряжению. Плюс, добавят проблем монстры с иммунитетом на адской сложности.

Глаз ГрифонаВажно! Для персонажа ниже 80 лвл лучше выбрать другой из представленных билдов.

Навыки

• Основа билда – заклинание Цепная Молния (Chain Lightning), атакующее одновременно группу врагов. Оно не требует много маны, но и урон от него предсказать достаточно сложно.
• Для усиления эффекта стоит использовать навыки Удар Молнии (Lightning Bolt) и Мастерство Молнии (Lightning Mastery).
• Из других веток можно и нужно позаимствовать Телепорт, Статическое поле (Static Field), Тепло и Ледяной шар (Frozen Orb), либо Доспехи Холода (Frozen Armor).

Статы

Как и у большинства сборок для сорки, основная характеристика – Выживаемость. Остальные прокачиваются настолько, насколько этого требуют предметы.

Экипировка

Главная цель – сделать скорость каста больше на 117%. После этого повышается эффективность навыков и бонусного урона. Лишними точно не будут пояс Паукообразная сетка (Arachnid Mesh), обруч Глаз Грифона, Heart of the Oak в качестве оружия.

Наемник

Наемник 2-го Акта с Infinity – один из важных кирпичиков сборки. Он поможет преодолеть иммунитет монстров и увеличит DPS. Не помешает и Might Aura.

Друид – Windy Druid

«Друиды – раса кочевников, которая пришла из диких дебрей Скосглена. Суровый и красивый дом друидов кишит оборотнями и другими тварями. Чтобы выжить и править этими землями, друиды должны отказаться от человеческого облика и пробудить зверя внутри себя».

Windy Druid – нетребовательный к вещам универсальный персонаж с массой достоинств. Tornado, Hurricane и гризли наносят много урона, а Oak Sage и Cyclone Armor помогут повысить выживаемость. Несложный и крайне эффективный персонаж.

• Плюсы: очень живучий, эффективно зачищает разнообразные локации, два вида урона – Cold и Psysical, хорош для поиска уникальных предметов
• Минусы: траекторию Tornado сложно предсказать, относительно медленно справляется с толпами

Подборка рунных слов (rune img). Еще одна очень полезная утилита.
Если рун много, а что собрать не знаешь эта утилита для тебя. Выбираешь руны которые у тебя есть и получаешь список слов которые ты сможешь составить из них.

никакие статы и скиллы не выучены, у всех пройдены все нужные квесты на всех сложностях.

Rollback Skills

There are six multiattack Skills that have different Anim_Lengthper attack in their sequence. These are called «Rollback» animations.

• Rollback

  The first and last attack are usually a full animation length, while the middle attacks will only show a portion of the attack, giving the visual illusion of speed, and the ingame effect of reduced animation length.

  animation Skills are visually constructed of the same animation, but each attack only shows parts of the total animation, which leads to them having varying lengths.

• EIAS decreases the first, middle, and last attacks differently at each breakpoint.
• The pattern for reduction is functionally incalculable, especially when non-native Characters gain access to multiattack Skills of other Characters.
• We include an example of the Paladin’s zeal ability, but we HIGHLY recommend using the D2Planner for calculating these Skill’s breakpoints.
