Phase 4[]
This is an upgrade that comes with phase 3. Therefore, it costs 3,000 Experience. You will be in this phase if you spend the required amount of time(Around 2-3 minutes) in phase 3. Again, appearance remains the same except both arms are down and there is no more glowing eye along with Papyrus having a sad expression. In this phase, Papyrus is the most vulnerable.

Предыстория
События АУ происходят в Dustfell, где Санс, сойдя с ума после множества сбросов, начинает убивать всех монстров Подземелья, для того, чтобы набрать максимально возможный LVL, ATK и DEF. Он доходит до своего брата — Папируса. Санс скажет «Простите, босс… Мне нужно это сделать». Его брат будет стоять в недоумении и защищаться. В попытках защиты, он попадёт костями в своего брата, который погибнет.
Перед смертью он скажет: «Не упрекай себя… Это вина человека…». Папирус поедет крышей и продолжит дело брата по его указаниям. Главный герой встретит Папируса в Водопадье, где начнётся монолог, в ходе которого брат Санса скажет о том, что вы должны быть хорошо настроены, для того, чтобы не пойти на дно с рыбами.
Profile
Appearance
Papyrus still has his iconic red scarf, but almost everything else about his clothing are changed. He wears red boots with black straps and wears brown gloves instead of red ones. He wears black pants with a blue shirt, and also wears a tan coat with navy blue trims on the sleeves. He has some sort of a brown belt around his waist and usually seen holding orange bone spears. He has one orange left eye while his right eye is green. It is unknown where he received this outfit, or why he chose it, but it is possible he created it from his own determination.
Personality
This Papyrus is caught between his break in sanity and his normal self, and as such he has seemingly schizophrenic episodes where he balances between a caring yet troubled skeleton and a bloodthirsty, vengeful monster. Thrust into needing to kill as many monsters as possible to stop the human, he has gone insane and has felt less and less remorse. His murder spree is for the sake of his brother first and is his last stand against the human. His loss in sanity is merely a result of his fragile skeleton heart suddenly being compelled by his brother to murder for the sake of revenge on the human. As he loses emotion, he becomes uncaring and cool-headed, but is still deeply insane and upset.
Despite this, he does seem to regret killing those who were close to him, specifically Sans and Undyne. As when he accidentally killed Sans in self defense, he blamed himself until blaming Frisk and hallucinates a ghost of his brother to cope with his death. He was already insane by the time he killed Undyne, but he apologized and respected his fallen friend by putting her remains in a jar.

Фаза 1
Музыка — «Interstellar Retribution» (рус. Межзвёздное возмездие), созданная DBOYD и KOMMISAR.
Папирус больше не верит в вас… Держа кость в руках он блокирует удары, зная что человек может убить его с одного удара. Отличается тем, что вместо обычных синих и белых костей, он использует бластеры Гастера и оранжевые кости.
Внешне ни чем не отличается, кроме наличия длинной кости в руке и оранжевого огня в его зрачке.
В конце фазы он упадёт на колени и заплачет. Потом вам предстоит выбор: либо убить Папируса, либо пощадить. Если выбрать первый вариант, то он заблокирует удар костью, сказав ,,Ты и вправду бессердечный.». Если ударить его 5 раз, кость сломается, Папирус очень разозлится, восстановит здоровье Чары и перейдет во 2 фазу.
Если пощадить Папируса, он скажет: «Ты щадишь меня? Вауи!», после чего вы пройдёте дальше.
Фаза 2
Музыка — «Megalo Strike Back» (рус. Мегало наносит ответный удар), или же «Phase 2» (рус. Фаза 2), созданная Jimmy the Bassist.
Слёзы исчезают, свечение из глаза становится слабее, видны зрачки, лицо приобретает злобное выражение.
Папирус держит одну половину своей кости в воздухе, всегда вращает другую половину. Его атаки становятся еще сложнее; он может контролировать меню игрока (например, сбивать костью текст и не давать съесть еду).
Примечание: в этой фазе съев спагетти, можно будет вспомнить что-нибудь хорошее и восстановить 29 хп, Чара скажет: ,,Ну же ты не скучаешь по ним. Почему тогда мы здесь? =) (2 предложение написано красным цветом и озвучено злым голосом Флауи.)
Фаза 3
Музыка в начале фазы — «But The Earth Grew A Spine» (рус. Но земля отрастила позвоночник), созданная Jimmy The Bassist.
Музыка — «Backbone» (рус. Позвоночник), созданная Ione и sean evans.
Прежде чем эта фаза начинается, Папирус осознал, что он настолько велик, что ему ничего не нужно, и внутри его души начинает что-то резонировать. Проявляется тень Санса с раной на теле, а затем Папирус хватается за правый глаз, который начинает сиять, и призывает призрака собственного брата.
Внешний вид Папируса вновь изменяется: куртка Санса расстёгивается, из-за чего на броне Папируса становятся видны повреждения, глаза становятся больше, правый глаз горит оранжевым, но иногда свечение может ненадолго меняться на синее, приподнимается левая бровь, а челюсть открыта. Он держит сжатую в кулак руку в воздухе, а вторая рука указывает на землю. Атаки крайне несправедливы (поэтому Папирус убрал и добавил игроку).
Его специальная атака — пинг-понг душой, а затем костями. Санс и Папирус одеты в одежду с надписью «Cool Dude» (англ. Крутой чувак). Санс побеждает, но нечестно. После этой атаки Папирус призывает призрака Андайн в Бессмертной форме.
Во время этой фазы Санс и Андайн тоже атакуют и их атаки смешаны с атаками Папируса.
В конце фазы Папирус понимает, что Санс и Бессмертная Андайн не являются реальными, и извиняется.
Примечание: Во время специальной атаки Папирус подозревал Санса в жульничестве, хотя просто плохо играл в пинг-понг; во время атаки Андайн Папирус и Санс помогали ей: белые и синие кости, Гастер-Бластеры, да и Андайн была не против использовать желтые стрелки постоянно.
Фаза 4

Его тело сильно повреждено, глаза становятся обычными, куртка Санса всё также расстёгнута. Использует свою обычную специальную атаку для большей части фазы. Он снова верит в протагониста. Он говорит вам, что у вас всё ещё может быть хороший конец, если пощадить его.
В конце концов, его можно убить и закончить игру.
Перед смертью его голова падает так же, как и при его убийстве в оригинале, после чего протагонист уничтожает тело Папируса и делает четыре быстрых удара по его голове (подобно убийству Флауи в пути Геноцида), четвёртый удар становится фатальным.
Battle
Dustbelief’s battle is hard, but not impossible. Frisk cannot hit him for a number of turns, since he either dodges it or it deals 0 DMG.
It has several phases. In his first phase, he will use hard attacks, but be one of the easier phases. In his second phase, he will become angry and attack much more harshly. In his third phase, he becomes incredibly powerful, and fights alongside the persistent souls of Sans and Undyne. In his fourth phase, he remembers himself, and gives the human another chance. In his fifth phase, he absorbs the souls, and is joined by a corrupted ghost of Sans, and Gaster. He is then killed. There are many interpretations of the fight, but none are canon, and should not be posted here.
In Battle
During his Pre-Battle, he explains different things that he is feeling.
His thoughts and feelings rapidly fluctuate throughout the fight, from him still thinking that you can change until moments before death, to him truly trying to kill you.

Phase 1
- This is where his battle properly begins.
- He still believes that Frisk is a good person in this phase, and tries not to hurt them.
- Your attacks will be blocked by his bone.
- He can use some of Sans’ attacks, (such as the Gaster Blaster), and bones can be Blue or Orange.
- Eventually, his bone will break into two halves. Once this happens, Phase 2 starts.
Phase 2
- He is holding one half of his bone in the air while spinning the other half.
- His attacks are extreme.
He is able to move the bullet board, and the FIGHT, ACT, ITEM, and MERCY buttons.
He eventually replaces all of your items with Spaghetti. It heals you for nothing.
He cannot be spared.
Phase 3
Before this phase, Papyrus gives up until he realizes that he is «THE GREAT PAPYRUS.» He is then able to bring a copy of Sans, and then later, a copy of Undyne back from the dead.
One of his fist is in the air while the other is by his side.
Sans and Undyne fight alongside him.
His attacks in this phase are mostly average, but some of them are extremely unfair. His stats are 9999 each.
His Special Attack is both Sans and him wearing COOL DUDE clothes while playing pong with your SOUL and some bones. Undyne is revived after the Special Attack.
At the end of this phase, Papyrus realizes that the copies of Sans and Undyne are not real, and apologizes to you.
Phase 4
He uses Normal Attacks for most of this phase, and can be killed at the end of this phase.
He believes in you again in this phase, and tells you that you can still have a good ending by sparing him.
He uses abnormal attacks, such as basketballs and racecars.
He still believes in you, even if you kill him.
Phase 3[]

Backstory
In Dusttale, Murder!Sans was about to kill Papyrus in order to make up for the fact that he couldn’t kill Toriel, due to the human getting to her first.
But when Sans was about to finish Papyrus off, Papyrus’ instinct kicked in, causing him to stab Sans to death in self-defense, breaking his sanity and causing him to blame everything on the human, leading him to go on his own killing spree to gain as much LOVE as possible in Sans’s place. He has about 5 phases in combat. He is similar to his more sane counterpart, Disbelief Papyrus, but he has become much more brutal and uncaring. He is accompanied by a ghostly Sans, who lives after death through determination.
Phase 3
Nobody can damage you. Instead, you have time until Phase 4. 77 seconds before the next phase.

Appearance
Disbelief Papyrus is wearing Sans’ jacket, and his right eye glows orange in Phase 1, 2, and 3; a concept similar to Sans’ Bad Time Eye. Specifically in Phase 3, his equivalent to Sans’ Bad Time Eye occasionally flickers between orange and light blue. Primarily in Phase 1, he is crying, but there are other times in the fight that he cries. His battle body in Phase 2 appears to be slightly damaged, or at the very least, scratched, while in Phase 3 and 4, it is severely damaged. Overall though, his appearance is the same as the regular Papyrus’. He is wielding a bone about as long as he is tall in Phase 1, and the same bone broken into two halves in Phase 2.
Story/Description
After you, (the protagonist), repeatedly play through a Genocide Route, Sans gets sick of watching Papyrus, and his friends turn to dust and die, so he finally decides to interfere. He stops Papyrus from fighting you in Snowdin, and tries to fight you himself, but dies, leaving Papyrus to watch all of his friends die with his own eyes.
Instead of meeting Sans in the Last Corridor, you meet Papyrus, and the events from this time on lead up to his fight with you.
At this point, Papyrus has lost all the belief and faith that he had that humans could be good, and is now out to get revenge for the death of his brother, and friends.
This is the idea behind Disbelief Papyrus.
